Today the first screenings of films in competition for the Vicious Cat, Noisy Cat and Slak's Vicious Cat awards will take place. The Culture House Cinema will at 19.00h feature Basque gothic fairy tale Errementari, introduced by director Paul Urkijo Alijo, followed by Austrian slasher comedy Party Hard Die Young, presented by director Dominik Hartl, at 21.00h.

 


As the first of this year's music documentaries, Serbian Contact, an in-depth portrayal of the underground scene in Novi Sad, will be screened at The Cellar at 17.00h, while Golar's House will host the 1st batch of short films in competition at 20.00h.


Other highlights include the Mexican magical realist festival hit Tigers Are Not Afraid and two special treats for western fans: Five Fingers for Marseilles will ride in from South Africa to Culture House Cinema at 15.00h, while Charles Bronson, Claudia Cardinale, Henry Fonda and Jason Robards expect you at 22.30h sharp at Golar's House in Sergio Leone's ultimate classic Once Upon a Time in the West.
