Grossmann, Day 4: Friday the 13th
The Vicious Cat competition at the Culture House Cinema presents British psychological horror Charismata, introduced by writer/director Andy Collier and producer Ross Scaife at 21.00h, Austrian slasher comedy Party Hard Die Young at 17.00h and German/Austrian art horror Hagazussa at 23.00h.
Open Air Cinema at the Main Square will mostly focus on animation. At 20.30h you will be able to enjoy the conversation with animator Dušan Kastelic, followed by a special retrospective of his short films. At 21.30h you will succumb to Puppets: The Compelling Charm of Fear, a selection of Croatian horror shorts, presented by animator and film critic Božidar Trkulja. The darkness will come to life with Roman Polanski's horror masterpiece Rosemary's Baby at 23h.
Culture House Cinema will provide some more cinematic treats, among others the premiere screening of Oto, new film by Slovenian independent filmmaker Vasja Rovšnik, who will be there along with his film crew at 19.00h, and Thai horror comedy Premika about a haunted karaoke machine at 15.00h.
In The Cellar, the 1st batch of shorts films in Meiles d'argent competition will be screened at 16.00h, followed by the 2nd batch of shorts films in Slak's Vicious Cat competition at 17.30h and German documentary Bunch of Kunst – A Film about Sleaford Mods at 19.00h.
The Old Square Cinema offers the 2nd batch of shorts films in Meiles d'argent competition at 21.00h, followed by the presentation of crowdfunding campaign for action comedy Dick Dynamite by our guest and Noisy Cat juror Robbie Davidson, guitarist of Scottish punk legends The Exploited. At 23.00h the time will come for Canadian documentary Slave to the Grind, dealing with most fierce and savage music genre – grindcore.
