Psychiatrist Nancy, who has survived past encounters with Freddy Krueger, is specialized in dream therapy. When she finds out that Freddy is after a group of children at the hospital, she helps to develop their special abilities in dreams in order to resist the cruel killer.
For the third installment in series, Wes Craven returned as cowriter, while first-time director Chuck Russell took the helm. Like both predecessors, the film boasts countless elaborate and imaginative dream sequences, while Robert Englund once again shines as Freddy, this time around with even more unforgettable one-liners.
