Loïc Tanson is a Luxembourg director and author. Since 2003, he has also worked as a journalist and film critic. In 2016, after co-directing three short films with Thierry Besseling, he co-directed the documentary Eldorado (with Thierry Besseling and Rui Abreu), which was a huge success. The Last Ashes is his first live-action feature.
