Reflection in a Dead Diamond

John D is an elderly gentleman living in a luxury hotel on the French Riviera. One day, a look at his gorgeous female neighbour takes him back to times when he was a secret agent and living the life of high adventure. When his neighbour suddenly disappears, John begins to feel uneasy. Is it possible that his former adversaries are back to settle the score?

Once again, cult directing duo Cattet-Forzani explores the legacy of European genre cinema from the 60s and the 70s. After giallo and spaghetti western, it’s time for James Bond-inspired action and spy movies, such as Bava’s Diabolik, but – as expected - with an additional dose of psychedelic mayhem.
