A hearse driver is offered a shady job. He must take the body of young Zeynep, who was brutally murdered, to the mountains for a month, and then drive it to the funeral. He agrees, but soon he begins to question the motives behind such a strange request, and also if Zeynep is really dead.
After his acclaimed 2019 sci-fi thriller The Antenna, Turkish writer/director Orçun Behram offers a fascinating blend of road movie, zombie film and occult horror, along with some social criticism. With a paced realistic style, the viewer is slowly but inevitably drawn into the growingly unhealthy, unstable and threatening world, right until the harrowing finale.
