Šipon 2023 is a wine with gentle yellow colour. Bouquet is subtle and gentle, with an inviting dash of apple and pear. In the mouth it is dry, with high acidity and lighter body with a distinct character. A very distinct Šipon.
On the steep positions of Jeruzalem, the Kaučič family cultivates vines on terraced vineyards. The varieties are Rhine Riesling, White Riesling, Šipon, Yellow Muscat, Muscat Otonel, Pinot Blanc, along with red varieties Gamay and Pinot Bleu. Three generations of the family are taking care of vineyards and the cellar.
