The Méliès d'or award, given by the Méliès International Festivals Federation (MIFF) for Best European Fantastic Film went to Piggy (Cerdita, directed by Carlota Pereda) in the feature film category and From Beyond by Fredrik S. Hana in the short film category.
Composer Claudio Simonetti received the Méliès Career Award for his contribution to fantastic genre.
The award ceremony took place at the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival.
